Jocelyn Marte was born in Long Island, New York, but relocated to North Carolina at the age of three, where she has resided since. She graduated from Wakefield High School in Raleigh, NC, in 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. Following her graduation, Jocelyn moved to Charlotte and took a few gap years to immerse herself in the workforce and engage in personal development. During this period, she acquired extensive experience across various industries, starting as a waitress and advancing to the position of Assistant Restaurant Manager by the age of 20, before transitioning into car sales.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jocelyn discovered a passion for the beauty industry, completing a Nail Technician course and earning certification in North Carolina. After several years of self-exploration, she returned to academia and is now set to graduate from Central Piedmont Community College next fall with an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Technology. Following her graduation, Jocelyn plans to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Behavioral Analysis.
Committed to community service, Jocelyn actively volunteers at her church on weekends and participates in food drives. Despite her career and academic achievements, she considers her most significant accomplishment to be her relationship with God.
Jocelyn aspires to gain valuable experience, knowledge, and mentorship at Sussman Law Firm PLLC, which she believes will be instrumental in her future career as a lawyer.
